Thank you for posting the recording, as I was unable to attend live. There were a lot of great ideas and methods explained and demonstrated in your webinar. I am fascinated by the topic, and look forward to watching the second of the two part series, as well as the future webinars.

I would also like to add some information that I read in the book The 4-hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss (No. 1 NY Times and WSJ best seller) that I am sure some of you are familiar with. In the book there is a whole chapter on outsourcing. Here are some urls that may be useful: (International Association of Virtual Office Assistants). Global directory that includes US. ($20+ hour)

India: ($20 – 60 per month for 24/7 concierge, free one week trial) and also useful. This is where your will find the bargain VA’s, but with the associated higher risk (ie language skills, accents)

Well, that’s my two cents. If you have the time read the book, “4 Hour Workweek.” It will make you see current business in a new light.

    • First of all Loved the training – recommended it to lots of my contacts and even to a group that I was teaching over the weekend.

Secondly, I am going out on a limb to comment on Mr. Wehmeyer’s comments: First of all, the purpose of this group is to promote local business… Which you all are and so am I. There are also several other qualified virtual assistants in the “Bus. connection.” I am a VA so take that into consideration.

I am not a “bargain VA” if you are looking just at the $ per hour you pay. However the old saying you get what you pay for is true! I have been successful largely because I have helped my clients increase their business significantly – which they could not do or would not have done without someone highly skilled to take the ball and run with it.

Unlike those in third world countries, I am able to work with minimal supervision – have an excellent command of the English language and can bring a lot more to the table than just clerical skills. I invite you to ask my clients or look at references I have received from LI contacts.

I prefer to think of what I do as “online business manager” since the non-domestic competition has taken the VA title and made it something you can get for pennies. Thanks for allowing me to rant. 🙂

P.S. I have plenty of business that still comes my way from former clients and clients I continue to work for over the past 3+ years. I have gotten more work than I can handle and have overflow people that I use who would not otherwise have any income at all. This group has also helped me – so this isn’t a case of sour grapes. Just me wanting to clarify what you posted from the book you read 🙂

    Bryan, Jeff, David,

Outstanding Webinar on LinkedIn AND I shared on FB Wall, FB Fan Page, LinkedIn, Twitter! (did I do the right thing?) The cool thing about the recording is that I could stop it and check things out and try things out when I wanted to.

When are Videos Part 3 and 4 coming out?

    Take Care,

    Jupiter Jim
